演出結束後，朋友正好打電話來，問起剛看完的表演，我第一時間只有四個字評語：「乏善可陳。」朋友又接著問，歌不好聽嗎？舞台不漂亮嗎？女主角 Danielle 表現很差嗎？我仔細想了想，不會啊！歌還可以啊，舞台也還不錯啊，演員表現也不差啊，但不知怎樣就是很難從口中擠出個「好」字。

其實我一直以來都是個劇場追星族，哪裡有大牌（好萊塢）演員我就往哪裡追，幸而 West End 也非常熱愛這些明星的光環，三不五時就有明星卡司，讓我這幾年來蒐集了不少明星，派翠克史都華、David Tennant、瑞秋懷茲、裘德洛、茱蒂丹契、琥碧戈柏、伊恩麥克林、伊森霍克。不諱言，注意到這齣《The Children's Hour》其實也是因為綺拉奈特莉和伊莉莎白莫絲，可以一次蒐集到兩位好萊塢明星的戲，為什麼不去看呢？

我越來越會拖稿了。

首先，有一陣子我迷失掉了寫這些文章的價值。價值，或說目的吧。當然，就單純的寫些東西其實也可以不必有複雜的目的和明確的價值，因為目的和價值都可以是寫作的本身，但人在面臨某種生死交關的時期，當滿足每天的基本溫飽和原始需求都受到威脅時，這種形而上的活動就似乎必須要有點目的和價值，或是要被榨出一些目的和價值。不過，好像也沒這麼嚴重的樣子。接著某日，當我在追蹤衛報裡關於 London International Mime Festival (LIMF) 的報導時，我看到了這篇文章：
